ROB McGOWAN

OWNER

Rob McGowan developed a love for high design when he was just a boy, inspired his Father's role in Italian imports and high end retail. In the early1990s, Rob founded a high-end optical and designer eyewear business that was later acquired by an Italian conglomerate. For the next chapter of his life, Rob once again looked to what he enjoyed most: Design.

In 2005, Rob opened the doors to Architectural Resources (now arcasa) - the first and only contemporary furniture showroom in Sun Valley. Since then, the business has grown to over 6000 feet and become one of only a hand full of B&B Italia mono brand stores along with securing exclusive distribution to Cassina, Minotti, Poltona Frau and Flexform.

Rob remains very involved in the community, having served multiple terms on both the Sun Valley Center for the arts as well as Community school boards. He calls Sun Valley home with his two children, Chloe and Peter.
